Vajra’s Fire: The Awakening

One night. One telling. A father tells his daughter, beneath the ancient tree, the story of who he was before she knew him. Before he was Vajra he was no one — a young lion in the red grass, in a world that had not yet burned.

The Sanskrit here is the first hymn of the Ṛgveda, given a verse at a time, at the fires where each verse was earned. This is where the road arrives at the floor it was standing on.
